Europahütte to Zermatt

The final stage follows the Europaweg, a high trail with constant views of the Matterhorn. The path includes suspension bridges and traverses above steep slopes, making it one of the most dramatic sections of the entire Haute Route. After a long day of ups and downs, the trail descends into Zermatt, a world-famous alpine town at the foot of the Matterhorn and the official finish line of the trek.
